Since February 2002 we have the fortune to live in the old Headmaster's house in the middle of the Charing CoE Primary School grounds. Plans are afoot to redevelop the Old Victorian School-buildings in the near future (2008/2009, but plans have been launched since 1994, so we might live here a while longer still) and could be turned into expensive apartments or executive homes. Before we have to depart from this old (1873), drafty, creaking, moaning and lovely building and its huge garden we call home these pictures from In and Around the School House Garden will - hopefully - prevent it from being lost in History forever.
This page will be added to with more pictures of various 'visitors' to our garden, be it birds - from blackbirds, song thrushes, woodpeckers to small birds of prey - insects, hedge-hogs, foxes, squirrels or of the human kind.
Bird of prey landed (Owl) - got 'Flip' out of the bag just in time to video him/her.

Hi Karin,
Got here from the blue shark's home town extravaganza. I must say that from the pictures this location defines the word idyllic!
Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mike
I would say: you've got that right in one word!
(It's as my good friend Richard says: a villagy village and we think we have the best part of it!)
